If you would like to bump it up a notch to make a more powerful wash, add some Homemade Lemon Peel Concentrate to the base of the Fruit and Veggie Washing Tonic.  

Note: Don't use this wash on mushrooms because they will absorb the flavor, which is not so tasty

YIELD: ABOUT 1 QUART

Ingredients

4 cups filtered water

3 tablespoons white distilled vinegar

2 tablespoons Homemade Lemon Peel Concentrate 

2 teaspoons baking soda

Procedure

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly until the baking soda has dissolved.

To Use

Pour it in a spray bottle for spritzing fruits and veggies or in a bowl for dunking. Rinse the produce thoroughly before carrying on.
